jack & Megan engagement

Megan and Jack were such a joy to work with. Not only are they a beautiful couple on the outside, they were also on the inside. Megan and Jack live in Maquette in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and we went to some of the beautiful places that Marquette has to offer. The session began with a date at Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette and we then went to the church they will be getting married at, Saint Peters Cathedral. We took photos in the beautifully manicured garden and with some of the stunning architecture at the cathedral. Afterwards we went to where they very first met- outside Delft Bistro. This is where things got really fun, they started running around downtown Marquette with onlookers watching, but they were all smiles! Next, it was time for some of the gorgeous scenery that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. We went to both Presque Isle and Mccarty's Cove where they actually got engaged. We got some beautiful shots of them near the water and the session ended with them jumping into Lake Superior fully dressed and splashed around and got some fun shots, as well as those lovey dovey ones- best of both worlds! I loved this engagement session with Jack and Megan and cannot wait to be back in Marquette for their wedding in September!
